Autism
My sister has autism. Although it is very very slight, if your around her enough you can see some signs. When she was younger the signs were more prominent. She needed to be wrapped tightly (to the point where she couldn't move her arms or legs) in order to go to sleep. She also could spend hours looking at a ceiling fan. I thought the article made a good point that maybe autistic children just don't see a point to copying people. Copying is a social thing to do and autistic children are unequipped socially.

i like your point of view on this because it showed another side to autism that i don't see. My sister also has autism, but she has a more severe form. She does, however, copy people. For example she will fake sneeze if someone else does or she'll do the same hand motion that someone else does while talking. I think that she only copies people because she usually gets something out of it like my family laughing because it's funny. If she didn't get anything out of it i don't think that she would bother copying
