I know that family heredity plays a factor and being around people plays a factor in your weight but what if you are a skinny person and a friend or family member calls you fat to make themselves feel better? would it affect the kid to gain weight or loose a bunch of weight?? Just wondering what all your opinions are let me know.

http://proquest.umi.com/pqdweb?index=0&did=1976013281&SrchMode=2&sid=3&Fmt=4&VInst=PROD&VType=PQD&RQT=309&VName=PQD&TS=1271863007&clientId=14507My first article is about the onset of bipolar disorder or other psychological disorders in children whose parents suffer from bipolar disease. It says that parents who have the disorder are likely to have children who developed types of the disorder and are more likely to suffer from anxiety disorders. The article also stated that diagnosing bipolar is hard because you need to be able to talk with the person for more than one sit-down occasion. Also parents who suffer from the disease shouldn't think that everything their child does could be symptoms of a psychological disorder and should be in counseling to make sure that if the child ends up having a disorder, that he/she can be treated properly and before the disorder gets out of hand. The article is about a study that was done with parents with and without bipolar disorder and what disorders, if any, the children had. The results showed that the children with bipolar parents were very likely to have ADHD and to also have two or more psychological diseases.

***My next article will be on my next blog (couldn't finish it in class)
